INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

• Candidates must have a valid email ID and a Mobile Number which should be kept active till the declaration of results. All the communications will be through email / SMS only.
• Candidates are required to apply ONLINE to a trade for which they are eligible and which has been notified. For one trade,a candidate should fill up one application form. If the candidate wishes to apply for more than one trade then he/she should fill up more than one application. However as per the notification of ACT Appr. 2026-27, a candidate will be selected for only one training slot in Metro Railway.
• Please go through the available training slots according to your ITI Trade thoroughly and select the Trade accordingly. It should not happen that you select a Trade where there is no training slot requirement for your ITI Trade. In such a situation, your application may eventually become meaningless, as you would not be allowed to make any changes once submitted. Moreover, you are also not allowed to make multiple applications against the same trade, which will lead to rejection of your application summarily.
• No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to Metro Rail Kolkata.

Step 2

• A confirmation screen with all the data filled by the candidate will be displayed.
• Candidates are advised to verify the details given therein, especially those fields highlighted in Blue Colour. Once registered, these fields CANNOT be modified.

Step 3

• On submission, An Email will be sent to the candidate's registered email id and an acknowledgement will be displayed. The acknowledgement will contain a unique application number. Candidates are advised to note the application number, as it is essential for further processing and future logins.

Step 4: Fill Education

• Enter details of your 10th and ITI qualifications.
  Make sure the information matches your original certificates.

Step 5: Upload Images

• Upload clear / Eligible Photograph, Signature, LTI and relevant Documents: All the candidates are required to upload their scanned recent colour passport size photograph, signature, LTI and relevant documents.
• The maximum file size of the photograph is 20 to 50 kb , signature is 10 to 40 kb, LTI is 10 to 40 kb in .jpg/jpeg format only.
• The maximum file size of all other relevant Documents between 100 kb to 2 MB in pdf format only. You may upload multi-page pdf files wherever necessary.
• The Online application system will not allow to upload any files larger than the above mentioned sizes.
• Once the photograph, signature, LTI and relevant documents files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen the Photograph and Signature, LTI that have been uploaded.

Step 6: Make Payment

For UR / OBC / EWS (Male) Category Candidates	₹ 100/- + Service Charges
For SC/ST/PWD /Female	Fee Exempted

• On payment of the Application Fee, the same will reflect in your application profile.
• You may take a print of your filled in Application form generated, for your records and future reference.

Note:-Application will be treated as incomplete unless all necessary data is filled, photograph/signature is uploaded and fee (wherever applicable) is not paid by candidates. Application is purely provisional subject to scrutiny.
